Capture the Flag

The Vancouver LEGO® Club gathers in the nether regions of darkest Vancouver, BC in Canada.  After a mysterious absence, they have returned even stronger as a burgeoning powerhouse of MiniFig Death web pages.

VLC's home page can be found at http://www.vlc.ca/.  Full rundowns of their battles are on Marc Bruyere's VLC Wars page.

Eight Armies and a Starbucks: - March 29, 2002
In anticipation of getting interviewed for a WestEnder newspaper article, the VLC decided to show off just how badass they are by playing a rousing game of MiniFig Death and dressing up way too nicely.  This was a straightforward Ninjas vs. Fembots vs. Shock Troopers vs. Wandering Kamikazes vs. Divers vs. Battle Droids vs. Studio Warfare vs. Drag Queens battle.

A full tank of gas, half a rack of missiles, it's dark out, and we're shooting lasers

Five Armies - April 19, 2002
It took five more armies to finally destroy that Starbucks.  This time it was Magicians vs. Bricklords vs. Brigands vs. the Brick Patrol vs. Robin's Hoods.

Four Armies - April 19, 2002
Before long the number of armies started to dwindle to a level that was much closer to being reasonable.  This battle pitted Magicians vs. Mystery Men vs. Bricklords vs. the Brick Patrol.

North Vs South
This stunning re-enactment of the U.S. Civil War took the unusual liberty of having nothing whatsoever to do with the U.S.Civil War.  The A-Team proved to be a decisive force in this battle, with B.A. Barrackus' shouts of "I pity the fool!" having deadly effects on enemy morale.

Capture the Flag - April 19, 2002
As is true in all really great capture-the-flag games, far less time was spent capturing flags than was spent engaging in mass slaughter and destroying everything in sight.
